The Junior League of Kingston is proud to announce that we will be hosting our 17th annual Holly Berry Trail fundraiser on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Over the last sixteen years, this much anticipated event has given thousands of our supporters previews of Ulster County homes fully decorated in holiday splendor. The Holly Berry Trail offers a day of holiday fun for all who attend, while also providing the Junior League of Kingston with the funds we need to fulfill our commitment to the Ulster County community. As our principal fundraiser, proceeds from the Holly Berry Trail and its Journal assist us in providing programs, services and scholarships for our community, as well as training for our volunteers throughout the year.
Since 1922, the Junior League of Kingston has been committed to the improvement of the Ulster County area. The League identifies, creates and participates in projects that match our community needs with our members’ skills and interests. Some of our projects have allowed us to work with the Kingston Area Library, the Children’s Home of Kingston, and Ulster County Habitat for Humanity. All of these programs are presented by the Junior League of Kingston free of charge to Ulster County families.
Our recent accomplishment was the building of our six Little Free Libraries. The Little Free Libraries were installed this past year and have already been a huge hit within our community. This year we are working on cleaning up the trail at Hasbrouck Park.
